For a first uncomplicated febrile UTI in a child >6 months who responds well to treatment and has a normal USS, no further imaging is routinely recommended. DMSA scan is considered if there is atypical UTI (poor response, unusual organism, septicaemia) or recurrent UTI. VCUG is not routine for a first UTI with normal USS.
