Correct answer: DISO (International Organization for Standardization) file sizes

Standardised gutta percha points are manufactured to correspond to ISO-sized endodontic files (sizes 15-140, taper 0.02). A size 40 standardised GP point has the same apical diameter (0.40 mm) as a size 40 file. This allows selection of a master GP cone that matches the final apical preparation size. Non-standardised (accessory) GP points come in fine, fine-medium, medium, medium-large, and large, and are used as accessory cones during lateral condensation.
