Correct answer: B — Zinc oxide eugenol paste
Zinc oxide eugenol (ZOE) paste is the recommended root canal filling material for pulpectomised primary teeth. It is resorbable (resorbs with the primary root), antimicrobial (eugenol), radiopaque, and easily placed. Non-resorbable materials (gutta percha, MTA) should NOT be used in primary teeth as they will persist after physiological root resorption and may interfere with permanent successor eruption. Iodoform-based pastes (e.g., Vitapex) are an alternative.
