The posterior interosseous nerve (PIN) is the deep terminal motor branch of the radial nerve. It enters the posterior compartment of the forearm by passing through the supinator muscle (arcade of Frohse). It supplies: supinator / extensor digitorum / extensor digiti minimi / extensor carpi ulnaris / abductor pollicis longus / extensor pollicis longus and brevis / and extensor indicis.
