A dentist must complete at least 100 hours of verifiable CPD in each five-year GDC CPD cycle. The GDC also requires at least 10 hours of verifiable CPD in the preceding two-year period (except in the first year of a first cycle); this is a separate rolling requirement, not an alternative five-year total. Fifty hours applies to dental nurses and dental technicians, not dentists. Two hundred and fifty hours reflects the former overall requirement under the previous CPD scheme and is not the current Enhanced CPD requirement. There is therefore a defined minimum, making option A incorrect; 200 hours is not the GDC requirement.
