Correct answer: EHe must be seizure-free for 5 years off all antiseizure medication to regain a Group 2 licence after any seizure

For Group 2 (HGV/PCV) licensing, ANY seizure (including an acute symptomatic seizure at the time of stroke) requires the individual to be seizure-free for at least 5 years AND off all antiseizure medication for at least 5 years before a Group 2 licence can be considered. This is much stricter than Group 1 requirements. The stroke itself also has separate Group 2 requirements (functional recovery assessment). A: 12 months is the Group 1 standard for epilepsy. C: Immediate return is not permitted. D: Not permanently denied but the threshold is very high. E: 10 years is for epilepsy (2+ unprovoked seizures) Group 2.
