Correct answer: ADoxycycline 100 mg BD for 10–14 days

In sexually acquired epididymo-orchitis with confirmed Chlamydia and negative gonococcal NAAT, Doxycycline 100 mg BD for 10–14 days is the appropriate treatment. If gonorrhoea were also suspected or confirmed, IM Ceftriaxone would be added. In men >35 or those unlikely to have an STI aetiology, Ofloxacin covering enteric organisms is appropriate. Azithromycin single dose is insufficient for epididymo-orchitis.
