Is it known whether nusinersen sodium or its metabolites pass into human breast milk?

It is unknown whether nusinersen sodium or its metabolites pass into human breast milk; risk to newborns/infants cannot be excluded, so a decision must be made whether to discontinue breast-feeding or discontinue/abstain from nusinersen therapy, considering breast-feeding benefits for the child and therapy benefits for the woman.
