How should the Scheriproct Ointment applicator be cleaned after each use?

After each use, clean the Scheriproct Ointment applicator externally with a paper towel, remove remaining product with a cotton swab, wipe again with a paper towel, rinse under warm water for about one minute and dry externally with a paper towel; do not use a damaged applicator.
