How should Solaraze gel containing diclofenac sodium be applied to the affected skin?

Adults, including older people, should gently smooth Solaraze (diclofenac sodium) gel into affected skin twice daily, normally using 0.5 g (pea-sized) per 5 × 5 cm lesion, up to 8 g daily over 200 cm², usually for 60–90 days; dosing is not established for children or adolescents.
