How long should patients fast before and after taking Bondronat 50 mg film-coated tablets?

Bondronat 50 mg film-coated tablets should be taken after an overnight fast of at least 6 hours, before food, other drinks, medicines or supplements (including calcium), with fasting continued for at least 30 minutes afterwards; water is permitted throughout, but high-calcium water should not be used.
