How is the Typhim Vi typhoid vaccine administered?

Typhim Vi is given to adults and children over 2 years as a single 0.5 mL injection, preferably intramuscularly or alternatively subcutaneously, never into a blood vessel, at least 2 weeks before potential exposure, with repeat doses every 3 years if risk continues.
