Adults apply a small undiluted amount of Anbesol Liquid to the affected area using a clean fingertip over the bottle mouth, inverting once then returning upright; two immediate applications usually suffice, repeating if needed after 3 hours (not immediately after vomiting, spitting or accidental ingestion), stopping when symptoms resolve and never exceeding 7 days.
