How does lomitapide mesylate affect warfarin treatment?

Lomitapide mesylate (Lojuxta) increases warfarin plasma concentrations; increasing or decreasing Lojuxta doses may cause excessive or insufficient anticoagulation, respectively, so INR should be monitored regularly, especially after Lojuxta dose changes, and warfarin adjusted as clinically indicated.
