Yes, for patients unable to swallow Zomorph morphine capsules, the contents may be given through a gastrostomy tube wider than 16 F.G. with an open distal end or lateral pores, rinsing with 30–50 ml water; do not break, chew or crush capsules or granules, as potentially fatal morphine release may result.
