By which route and at which injection sites is teduglutide (Revestive) administered?

Teduglutide (Revestive) is administered once daily by subcutaneous injection, alternating between the four abdominal quadrants; the thigh may be used if abdominal injection is hampered by pain, scarring or tissue hardening, and intravenous or intramuscular administration must not be used.
