The useful part of the workflow is not how many cards it produces. It is whether the final deck asks clear questions, preserves the source's qualifications and remains practical to review.
What the advertised workflow supports
The Flashcard Hub guide describes text or file input, editing generated cards, reviewing within Neural Consult and downloading an .apkg file for Anki. Give the generator a bounded task
A suitable original instruction would be: "Create a small draft deck using only this passage. Ask one clear question per card. Preserve uncertainty, distinguish events from document dates and include the supporting sentence for each answer. Do not add clinical recommendations."
That instruction is a proposed input, not a tested prompt with demonstrated performance. Its value is that it makes the review criteria explicit. If the output introduces a concept absent from the passage, the reviewer can identify the addition immediately.
Ask for source references in a field or explanation that remains available during editing. When the interface does not support a separate source field, preserve a clear reference in your own review notes rather than assuming the export will retain information it was never given.

The second card could be improved further by adding a brief fictional example. The other cards may need fewer words once the learner understands the distinction. Editing should serve comprehension, not adherence to one fashionable card style.
Reject cards that ask several unrelated questions at once. Also reject cards whose answer can be guessed from grammar without understanding the concept. A correct response should tell you something about what the learner knows.
Export carefully, then inspect the import
Anki's packaged-deck documentation, checked on 6 September 2026, explains .apkg imports and the distinction from a whole-collection package. Use the appropriate import route for the application you actually use and retain a backup before making substantial changes to an established collection.
