OSCE content: Directly transferable. Clinical examination technique is identical regardless of professional title. History-taking, examination skills, and communication stations are the same.
Clinical knowledge (Q-bank): Significant overlap — the same conditions, same NICE guidelines, same management pathways. Roughly 70-80% of clinical content is shared between medical and PA curricula.
What's missing: PA-specific content — scope of practice questions, escalation scenarios, PA governance, and professional role. These are uniquely tested in PANE and not covered by any medical Q-bank.
Best as supplementary OSCE preparation and additional clinical question volume — not a sole PANE preparation tool.
