The MSRA market is smaller than the MRCGP market — fewer candidates, fewer providers, fewer free options. But a free foundation exists.
Clinical Paper (Free)
iatroX adaptive quiz (free). UK-specific clinical knowledge with adaptive targeting. The same platform you will use throughout GP training.
BMJ OnExamination (free for BMA members). 2,000+ MLA-aligned clinical questions from a trusted publisher.
i-Medics. Free clinical questions with MSRA-relevant content.
SJT Paper (Free)
NHS SJT practice questions. Limited in volume but official. Provides format familiarity.
GMC Good Medical Practice. The framework underlying all SJT reasoning. Reading it provides the ethical framework the questions test.
Free SJT frameworks. Available online — search for MSRA SJT ranking strategies and ethical reasoning frameworks.
Limitations
Free resources do not provide MSRA-specific mock exams or dedicated, high-volume SJT question banks. For competitive specialties (GP is typically the most competitive), investing £50-100 in Emedica or Passmedicine is justified by the career impact of a higher MSRA score.
Where iatroX Fits
