A 32-year-old woman presents with 8 weeks of amenorrhoea, lower abdominal pain and light vaginal bleeding. Urine pregnancy test is positive. Transvaginal ultrasound does not show an intrauterine pregnancy and reveals a 2 cm adnexal mass with some free fluid. She is haemodynamically stable. What is the most likely diagnosis?
